Dual HMOs for Immune Support
Human Milk Oligosaccharides (HMOs, not from human milk) are prebiotics that support baby's immunity and digestive health by encouraging growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut. ProCare boosted 2’-FL HMO to a level that aligns with mother’s milk and added LNnT, another HMO naturally occurring in breast milk. We chose them because studies show that these two abundant HMOs work better together to support baby’s digestive comfort and developing immune system.
DHA for Baby’s Developing Brain
ProCare’s nourishing ingredients include DHA, lutein, Vitamin E to support brain, eye, and growth. DHA is an essential that, like HMOs, occurs naturally in mother’s milk. While the human body produces some DHA, additional stores come from food.
We include it in ProCare to support baby’s developing brain.
Lutein for Baby’s Developing Eyes
Commonly found in green, leafy vegetables, lutein is a naturally occurring carotenoid and antioxidant that is concentrated in the eye. The body does not make lutein, so it must be obtained through food. We make sure ProCare baby formula has lutein to support baby’s developing eyes.
DIRECTIONS FOR PREPARATION AND USE
Before using an infant formula, ask the advice of your healthcare professional. Your baby’s health depends on carefully following these preparation, use and storage instructions. Failure to follow these instructions could result in severe harm. Powdered infant formulas are NOT sterile and should NOT be fed to premature infants or infants who might have immune problems unless directed and supervised by your baby’s doctor. Ask your baby’s doctor about the need to boil or sterilize water for formula and the proper preparation of bottle and feeding utensils. Experts agree on the many benefits of breast milk. Infant formula provides complete nutrition and is the only safe alternative to breast milk.
1. Wash hands, bottle and feeding utensils in hot soapy water prior to preparing formula.
2. Pour desired amount of warm water (approx. 100˚F/40˚C) into clean bottle. (See Feeding Chart on package).
3. Add powder to water. Return DRY scoop to slot located in the upper left corner of tub above the powder.
4. Cap bottle and shake well until powder is dissolved. Feed immediately. Discard any remaining formula in bottle after 1 hour from start of feeding.
